SCORE La Crosse Wisconsin Chapter 409

SCORE is an acronym for Service Corps of Retired Executives.

SCORE is also known as "Counselors to America's Small Business". SCORE is a non-profit organization sponsored by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). The La Crosse Wisconsin SCORE Chapter 409 was organized in 1976. In those 28 years, it has provided free and confidential counseling service to more than 2800 clients. Currently, La Crosse SCORE Chapter 409 has 19 counselors, who are retired or working part-time, who were Vice Presidents, Directors, Managers, or owned their own business.

As trained SCORE business counselors, SCORE members are well-versed in "the basics required to start a business from assessing the idea, through the kind of organization," to help develop an effective business plan and create strategies for business growth. SCORE is available to help set your course for success.

The La Crosse SCORE Chapter 409 is located in the Chamber of Commerce building, 712 Main Street, La Crosse, WI 54601. Office hours at the Chamber are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. For an appointment call (608) 784-4880. The SCORE office is only open on Mondays from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
