| The La
Crosse SCORE Chapter 409 is looking for
men and women they can train as business
counselors. In addition to a business
background, requirements for a volunteer
include: |
- Volunteering
for a minimum of 30 hours per
year.
- Attending 2/3
of our monthly meetings held on
the morning of the third
Wednesday of each month at 10:00
AM at the La Crosse Chamber of
Commerce office.
- Basic PC
knowledge and usage skills.
- Willingness to
counsel clients.
- Promoting
SCORE.

Business" is sponsored by the U.S.
Small Business Administration (SBA) and
has more than 11,500 volunteer business
counselors nationwide. SCORE is a
national non-profit organization that
provides free and confidential business
counseling as a community service. |

| The La
Crosse SCORE Chapter 409 was organized in
1976 and has provided its free business
counseling to over 2800 clients. There
are 19 members who have 1,000 combined
years of business experience. SCORE gives
volunteers the opportunity to receive a
great deal of satisfaction in being a
part of helping small businesses start
and grow. |
